Do I need CQI and IRCA registered Training?

The CQI (Chartered Quality Institute) was formed in 1919 and granted Royal Charter in 2006. It exists to represent a community of Quality professionals throughout the world. This community, which includes the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA), is a 19,000 strong body of Quality professionals and management systems auditors.

IRCA auditors invariably began their auditing careers by completing an IRCA, now known as a CQI and IRCA, auditor training course. This pedigree ensures that auditors, whatever their auditing discipline, are recognised throughout industry and commerce.

How do I register as an IRCA auditor?

IRCA auditing registration is a voluntary scheme and of course, not all auditors become IRCA registered. Some, having completed their CQI and IRCA registered auditing course, will not go on to pursue their professional auditing registration. The auditor training will have been to the same standard and the quality of auditing they deliver will not be impacted, simply they have no requirement for registration. Others will apply immediately to be part of the auditing community and carry their CQI and IRCA Auditor status with pride.

Your tutor will discuss with you the CQI and IRCA registration process on the training course.
