Why choose BRCGS training courses?

BRCGS is one of the UK’s, and increasingly global, authorities on Food Safety. Formed by retailers in 1996 it has produced a series of Food Safety Standards focussing on driving up standards in the sector and its supply chain.

What standards do BRCGS offer?

With standards in Food Safety, Packaging Materials, Storage & Distribution, Consumer Products, Agents & Brokers, Retail, Gluten Free, Plant-Based and Ethical Trading BRCGS offers Certification through Certification Bodies across the Food Industry.

How do I get BRCGS Certified?

Sites can gain Certification to the most appropriate standard above through an accredited Certification Body. There are many to choose from and some offer the specialist experience that may be required in your sector and will guide your through the process.

How do I become a BRCGS Professional?

BRCGS Professionals are a 10,000 strong global community from BRCGS Certified sites who have chosen to progress their training to a highly accomplished level. To gain BRCGS Professional status you will have to of successfully completed courses from three areas; Standards, Hazard & Risk Management and Product Safety Management. The programme can take 7-11 days of classroom time and often includes self-study and assignments that once completed will secure your place in a select community of Food Safety experts. To discuss the benefits of this program to you please contact us https://iqmslearning.co.uk/contact

Does my training need to be a BRCGS Course?

BRCGS also manages its own library of training specifically designed to support the standards above. BRCGS Approved Training Partners (ATP) deliver this training so clients can be assured that their training is relevant, current and delivered by experts.
