World CQI and IRCA Quality Week 2025 - "Quality: think differently."
The aim of this year’s World Quality Week is to promote and encourage organisations and their people to be more visionary and strategic in terms of how they view quality management and how they align their “Strategy, Structures and Management Systems” through greater innovation, transformational digital advantage, high integrity, and stronger prioritised collaborations, both internally and externally.
In summary, the theme invites new and transformational quality concepts and approaches compared to the more traditional focus on maintaining compliant management systems for certification purposes. Such transformation would enable the “Management of Quality” to become more strategically informed and directed, more innovative, more agile and more proactive (rather than reactive), to optimise the value from higher quality performance culture for the organisation itself, its customers and other interested parties. Below are some suggested straight forward steps (which we at iqms Learning can help you with), if the theme of “Quality: think differently” has attracted your attention;
- Evaluate current (perhaps more traditional) methods: This encourages a re-evaluation of how quality is managed, delivered, valued, and embedded within your organisation.
- Explore new ideas, concepts and underlying principles: Explore current efforts and approaches for business and quality innovation, strategic planning, collaboration, digital transformation, degree of integrity and the current/potential impacts on interested parties including supply chains.
- Be more strategic and proactive about quality: Go beyond basic compliance and problem-solving to become more proactive, applying a strategic/business approach that will ultimately integrate quality into every aspect of running your business.
- Invest strategically in the value of your people: Encourage and reward continuous learning and development your people to be able to adapt, innovate, drive change, drive quality and business performance excellence and create highly satisfied and loyal customers.
- Capitalise on current and emerging technology: Technologies like AI, robotics, automation and real-time data/information analytics are increasingly being seen as key tools direct and/or support this new way of thinking about quality.
From the 10th to 14th November 2025, World Quality Week offers a global opportunity for all organisations and their people to take “Quality” to a new level of innovation and excellence and to celebrate the vital role that quality plays in all aspects of our daily lives.
